Skinpedia is designed to raise awareness of discrimination against people based on the color of their skin. The user has an opportunity to understand themselves and define themselves in non-traditional ways.
This App is designed to invite people to give themselves a unique name depending on their skin color. The app also has a function that lets people define their own skin color.

When people talk about discrimination, it is always a serious and sensitive topic. However, things could be looked at a different way.
I want to design an app that invites people to understand themselves and define themselves in non-traditional ways. While enjoying the fun part, this app can also raise awareness of discrimination against people based on the color of their skin. People can identify their skin color by creating a word, word type, pronunciation, and definition of the word. People can come up as much as names based on the different color of their skins throughout their whole body. They can also share their name with the community and exchange their thoughts.
The name Skinpedia came from the idea of Wikipedia, where definitions are added by people. The logo design is based on the idea of united; therefore, I use circles and overlapped on each other in different colors. It represents that all different skins should come together and become a family.
